Thirty something dreamer named Kiran. Most people call me Kman. I love music, the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Cubs.

Aramis Ramiez Likley Played his Last Game With the Cubs

Surreal because I remembered when as a young player with the Pirates he used to kill the Cubs and then I remember where I was when I found out we had traded for him (and Kenny Lofton) in 2003.

I have a feeling next year’s team outside of a few players is going to be a lot different. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.

Funny (Cubs Content)

The Marlins are moving into a brand new retractable ballpark in 2012 and they’ll look to make a big splash on the open market this winter, writes Joe Frisaro of MLB.com.  Cubs third baseman Aramis Ramirez is one of the top free agents who is clearly on the Marlins’ radar.

Internally, the club views him as a good fit for a lineup as they look to add an established veteran to a youthful squad.  The addition of Ramirez would also give rookie Matt Dominguez more time to develop.

(That would be funny if they sign him since no one goes to any of their games. Then again, no one has shown up to Wrigley this year).

With tonight’s solo homer, Aramis Ramirez joins Billy Williams as the only Cubs players to hit at least 30 doubles and 25 HRs in 6 seasons.
Congrats Aramis!

HITS A GAME TYING HOME RUN IN THE 9TH INNING OFF THE BEARD MAN BRIAN WILSON!

(This is the first home run given up by Wilson this year.)

Did anyone else find it funny when he was running away from his teammates after they ran to mob him after his game winning hit?
I love walkoff wins because no matter if you’re a contender or a pretender, walkoff wins give you an excuse to jump around, run around and party.
